Planning Your Finances

The Office of Student Financial Planning partners with students and families to make a plan including scholarships, grants, student employment, and other financial opportunities. We continue to work with students throughout their journey at Mercer.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Financial Aid Policies

Satisfactory Academic Progress

Students must be making satisfactory academic progress toward degree completion to maintain financial aid eligibility.

Special Circumstances

We hope in reviewing your financial aid awards you feel that a Mercer education is affordable and within your family’s means. We understand however that certain situations may arise that are not reflected in your FAFSA and that may impact your family’s ability to afford the calculated expected family contribution (EFC).

Enrollment Requirements

Financial aid eligibility is determined based on the enrolled courses which count towards the program of study.

Consumer Information

The Higher Education Opportunity Act was designed to help students and parents make better-informed decisions about higher education. With this goal in mind, Mercer University has developed a website to better inform students, parents, and the University community.
