Offices of Financial Planning

Welcome to the Office of Student Financial Planning!

Investing in a college education is often a major financial decision, and many students need to look beyond their own limited resources for assistance.

A Mercer University education can be exciting and rewarding, especially if taken on in the form of a partnership. The partners in financing an education include: the student/family, the government, the University and the private sector.

You can now fill out your 2016-17 AND your 2017-18 Free Application for Federal Student Aid at FAFSA.ed.gov!

FAFSA Changes for 2017-18:

Effective with the 2017-18 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) process, students will be able to submit the 2017–18 FAFSA as early as Oct. 1, 2016 (rather than waiting until January 1, 2017), and students and parents will report their income information from an earlier tax year. Until then students and parents will continue to report their prior year income when completing the 2015-16 and 2016-17 FAFSA. To read more about the 2017-18 FAFSA updates click HERE.
