Important Dates and Deadlines
Application Dates
| Date | Application | What does that mean? |
| October 1 | FAFSA Application | The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is the first step in determining financial aid eligibility. |
| February 15 | Early FAFSA Deadline | Financial aid notifications will be released by June 1 for all students who complete the FAFSA by the early FAFSA deadline. |
| May 1 | GA Student Aid Application | Students should complete the GA state aid application as soon as possible for the upcoming award year. |
| July 1 | GA Student Access Loan Application | Undergraduate students who are residents of GA may apply for the GA Student Access Loan. Applications must be completed annually.
Funding for the SAL program is limited and the state will close the application when funds are no longer available. |
Disbursement Dates
Dates may vary and are not guaranteed. Financial aid disbursement is contingent upon the student meeting all of the requirements and Mercer University successfully receiving the financial aid funds from the funding source as scheduled.
