Preparing For Your Future

Whether you’re a college student or a recent graduate, managing your finances has a lot of components. Focus on building and strengthening your credit score, which is a foundation for meeting many of your current and future financial goals.

Understanding Credit

If you plan on making a big purchase after college, you will need to get a loan.  To get the loan, you will need to have a good credit score.  Many student loans also require good credit.  How can you build good credit?     

  1. Stay within your credit limits.  
  2. Avoid having multiple credit cards.  
  3. Check your credit report periodically.  You can do so through sites like CreditKarma.com, or directly through the credit bureaus: Equifax,  Experian, and TransUnion.

Identity Theft Protection
