Pell Recalculation Dates

Mercer University’s Pell Recalculation Date (PRD) is the scheduled disbursement date each semester. The dates listed below are for residential undergraduate, nursing undergraduate, working adults undergraduate, and most graduate and professional programs.

Fall 2025 – August 29, 2025 (term start date of August 19, 2025*)
Spring 2026– January 16, 2026 (term start date of January 5, 2026*)
Fall 2026 – August 28, 2026 (term start date of August 18, 2026*)
Spring 2027– January 11, 2027 (term start date of January 5, 2026*)

*Programs with alternative term start dates may have alternate PRDs.

Any student who initially enrolls after the PRD and has a FAFSA already on file will receive their scheduled Pell award based on their enrollment status at the time of disbursement. A student beginning during session 2 will receive the appropriate Pell award based on their enrollment status on the session 2 scheduled disbursement date. If a student completes the FAFSA after the PRD, the student will be awarded Pell based on their enrollment status at the time the FAFSA is received.
